OVERVIEW OF DIAGNOSTIC TEST INTERPRETATION COURSE

This course will enable you to confidently interpret diagnostic tests that are used on an everyday basis by junior medical doctors.

Target audience:

• Junior doctors
• Candidates appearing in PRES 3 exam
• Medical students

You will learn how to work your way through an ECG and present it to your seniors.

In addition, we will cover other common diagnostic tests that junior doctors are expected to interpret including:

Chest X-rays and CT scans

Abdominal X-rays

Arterial Blood Gases

Bloods

Dermatological conditions will also be covered in this course

Paediatric Growth charts

NEWS charts/IV fluid and drug calculations

The above topics have been selected to cover the core material required to succeed in the data interpretation section of the PRES 3 exam.

This is a 2 day course that will begin around 9am and finish at 5pm. This is an online course and will be conducted via zoom.
